If you
wanted to broadcast your views, ideas or even creative programmes to the
global audience, but were always stifled by those unapproachable radio

Radio2All. Internet, as a truly democratic media, has opened up new
possibilities of public expression, free speech, communication skills and
creative engagement. Radio2all is determined to be at the vanguard of this
media revolution. It provides you a rare opportunity of free broadcasting
on the Internet.

can broadcast on Radio2All?
Anyone,
including you, if you have interesting things to say. Our priorities are
schools, students, community groups and charity organisation, NGOs and
also individuals. You can broadcast as long as you do not abuse this
freedom of speech, offend others, preach hatred or says libelous things
about others.

How
can I benefit by broadcasting on Radio2All?
Besides
being a great joy and fun, broadcasting helps one to develop effective
communication skills. One can learn the art of saying things.

What
topics or subjects can I broadcast?
Any
subject that you like, for example, politics, sports, music, arts,
charitable campaign, public appeals, drama, poetry, story, book and film
review or even jokes. You can even put your regular weekly programme.

How
much it costs to broadcast on Radio2All?
It’s
totally free at the moment, though we would appreciate voluntary
donations. We may at a later stage ask for a small fee from regular
contributors to cover our operational costs. Radio2All is a not-for-profit
social enterprise.

How
can I send or file my stories?
There
are three ways to send your reports to Radio2All.
1.
Email editor@historytalking.com
to prearrange a recording time and the phone number. Then file your report
on telephone by calling to London. It’s not as expansive as you think.

2. You can also record your report at your home on your computer and
save this recording in MP3 format and email it as an attachment to the editor@historytalking.com.
Remember, the audio files are fairly large and it may take some time to
email them.
3. You can also post your recordings
to London on a normal cassette or

How
much does it cost to telephone from India to London?
Not
very much. Ordinary landline calls from India cost around Rs.8 per minute.
You can also ring through some of the Cyber Cafes, where it costs around
Rs.5 per minute. Calls from other countries may be cheaper then this.

long it takes to file a report on telephone?
If
prearranged, a five-minute long programme can be filed in as little as 6-7
minutes.

Is
there any cheaper way to file the stories?
Yes
there is. You can call London virtually free through VOIP or Internet
telephony. These calls can only be made through an Internet connected PC
to PC. One of the best programmes for free worldwide telephone calls is: www.skype.com.

How
can I record radio programmes at my home computer?
You
will need a specialised audio recording programme. Some of them are
available free to be downloaded. We will recommend a
programme called Wavepad.
It’s a very simple audio programme recorder and editor and most radio
professionals will be able to use it with minimum effort.
