UK's Punjabi poets celebrate Nanak Jayanti

Recently,
UK's leading Punjabi poets were invited by
one of the leading poetry societies,
Vatayana, to recite in praise of Baba
Nanak. The occasion was the birth
anniversary of the founder of the Sikh
faith. On this occasion Amarjit Chandan,
who has recently been awarded the title fo
Sahitya Shiromani by the Punjab
government, enthralled the audience. |
